The Global Methodist Church
The name and look for a new traditional Methodist denomination has been announced. Read the press release here.
Please note, the Global Methodist Church is not active until such time as the so-called “Protocol” legislation passes at a United Methodist General Conference, or it becomes clear that this carefully crafted agreement no longer has the support it needs to pass.
The Global Methodist Church is separate from the Wesleyan Covenant Association, not a change to the WCA, which is organized as an advocacy group. The WCA is taking a leadership role among traditional Methodists working to establish the Global Methodist Church.
