I like this simple solution. It something that can be done a lot sooner than waiting for the next General Conference. Even if not every bishop agrees some could go ahead. I think the cabinet of each conference would need to agree. Hopefully the Superintendents will follow the lead of their bishops.

This is the best idea I have heard about our situation. I hope the Bishops have the grace to listen and cooperate. That would be awesome!
